I think the work shops on MS Word, Powerpoint & Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash is very interesting especially Macromedia dreamweaver and Flash. It boost my interest in CIP module. It is useful to us because i think we might need the knowledge to create animations in out work.It is definetly appropriate in developing my IT hands-on skills. It pushes me to another level where i can perform another software usefully.
I think PBL problems is a very good way to enhance learning as it allows me and my team mates to research for the solutions of the problems. We make use of internet informations, and sometimes tend to learn more other IT information as we are researching for our problems. PBL also definetly serve as a perfect opportunity to work together with our team mates and also know each other strengths and weakness, especially in year one. In my Opinion, i really think that PBL problems serves a good way of learning and working effectively within our teams.
For lectures, i dont think the lecturers teaching really succeeded in inputing the knowledge and skills into us. I therefore suggest that when lecturers teach how to use a software in lecture eg: Micromedia flash, she should show us which button to press slowly and connect with the class, or maybe suggest everyone to on their laptops and practice the software with her. That will bring a better understanding to students.
I think my tutor Mrs sun is very helpful to us during the workshops and tutorials. She will teach you patiently if u have any problems and let you practice again to familiarise with the problems that i am unsure before.I think 20 in a class is more appropriate.
I would change more excercies that would involve more animated programmes and would make us more interested in the modules.I really appreciate the lessons learning dreamweaver especially we could learn how to do the flash and animations. It is really cute and interesting.
All in all..I think that cip is a really good module to improve our knowledge about computers.
